National Analysis and Testing Network

To set up a platform for academic exchange on metallurgical testing and analysis, the Analysis and Testing Institution of the Chinese Society for Metals and fifteen cooperative institutions jointly integrated the testing and analysis information resources pf the liaison system in 2003 and cooperated through the “National Analysis and Testing Network” with a precondition that the organizational structure and functions remain unchanged. Since the establishment, the joint network operates well and provides committee members and member units within the network with dynamic information through a variety of services, including academic exchange, latest revisions of standards for metallurgy, proficiency testing, laboratory accreditation service, method validation, evaluation of measurement uncertainty, introduction of reference materials, laboratory qualification accreditation, analysis and testing technology training, latest publications on metallurgy, periodicals, etc. In recent years, a group of web portals on the national analysis and testing system has been basically established, with “China Analysis” (www.analysis.org.cn) as the core and increasingly rich content, which will provide member units with complete and convenient information service.
